Garden City Eagle Scout Honored

Eagle Scout Alexander Kinn of Garden City was recently honored for achieving the highest rank in scouting.

Nassau County comptroller George Maragos and New York State Assemblyman Edward Ra congratulated Kinn on the achievement.

Kinn completed his project for Sunharbor Manor in Roslyn Heights, a nursing/rehabilitation facility where he constructed handicapped-accessible planters for use in the center’s recreational therapy program. Residents grew flowers and herbs in the planters.
