Garden City H.S. Bake Sale To Benefit Chef José Andrés' Charity
Wednesday's fundraiser follows the World Language Department's annual badminton tournament.
GARDEN CITY, NY — A bake sale is taking place on Wednesday at Garden City High School. All proceeds will be donated to the World Central Kitchen, a nonprofit organization started by Chef José Andrés that provides meals during humanitarian crises.
The bake sale comes after the World Language Department's annual badminton tournament.
Students and staff students and staff will dress up to compete in badminton matches. Others will help volunteering and running the fundraiser. The event runs from 3-5 p.m.
