Garden City Library Holding Blood Drive On Aug. 10
Long Island hospitals are facing a critical shortage of blood. Register now to donate.
GARDEN CITY, NY — There will be a blood drive at the Garden City Library on Aug. 10, and eligible people are encouraged to donate.
The drive, held by Long Island Blood Services, will take place from 1 to 7 p.m. in the Large Meeting Room on the library's lower level.
Hospitals around Long Island are facing a critical blood shortage. A donation can save up to three lives.
