Garden City Woman Injured in Kings Park Crash
Patricia Esculish and her sister, Joan Chicosky, were transported to a Smithtown medical center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

An 82-year-old Garden City woman and her sister were injured in Kings Park Sunday when a Yamaha collided with her Honda on Indian Head Road.
According to Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives, at approximately 2:55 p.m. Patricia Esculish was driving a 2011 Honda eastbound on Hudson Road and attempted to make a left turn onto Indian Head Road when she was struck by a 2003 Yamaha that was traveling southbound on Indian Head Road.
Esculish and her sister, Joan Chicosky, also 82 of King Parks, were both transported via Kings Park Fire Department ambulance to St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center in Smithtown for treatment of minor, non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Yamaha, Christopher Foster, 30, of Kings Park, was transported via Suffolk County Police helicopter to Stony Brook Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
After an investigation, Foster was cited for an unregistered motor vehicle, uninspected motor vehicle and for operating a motor vehicle with no insurance.

Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks and the investigation is continuing, according to Suffolk County police.
