Garden City Village Board Agenda: July 18
See what the village's Board of Trustees will be discussing at tonight's meeting.
Board approval of four volunteer firefighters, a request by Garden City Library board chair Randy Colahan to transfer unused State Retirement System funds from the 2012-13 budget into the 2013-14 budget in order to restore the library's Sunday hours of operation and a request for a (much needed) new public address system in the boardroom at village hall are among the many topics included on tonight's Garden City village board agenda.
Trustees are also being asked to approve Sacred Heart Academy's request to hold a 5K Run/Walk in late September through parts of the village and fireworks shows at Cherry Valley Club and Garden City Country Club Sept. 2.
The meeting begins at 8 p.m. in the village hall boardroom. All residents are encouraged to attend.
