GCHS Class Of 2022 Holds Successful Clothing Drive
The student officers and community came together to donate bags of clothes to those in need this winter.

GARDEN CITY, NY — Garden City High School’s class of 2022 organized a clothing drive to help those less fortunate stay warm this winter. Members of the senior class came together on a Saturday morning and accepted more than 175 bags of clothing from the community. All donations were distributed to Big Brothers Big Sister of Long Island, as well as the Salvation Army.
Thanks to the combined efforts of the class of 2022 officers and members of the Garden City community, many people will receive the warm clothing they need.
"It is the comradery and kindness that was on full display at the drive that makes our school such a wonderful place,” Class President Daniel Frankenberry said. “We’re all so lucky to have been a part of it!"
