Halloween Attraction 'Nightmare In Nassau' Opens Next Week In Westbury

The spine-tingly spooky event runs until Nov. 2 at Samanea New York on Old Country Road.

WESTBURY, NY — Halloween season is upon us in Nassau County. "Nightmare in Nassau" will open next week at Samanea New York on Old Country Road.

According to the event's website, "Nightmare in Nassau" will offer "a fear-filled experience you won’t forget. Expect heart-pounding scares, immersive scenes, terrifying actors, and unforgettable moments."

The attraction will run through Nov. 2 on Thursdays-Sundays. Families can enjoy a less scary version from noon to 4 p.m on weekends and on Monday, Sept. 13.

General admission tickets are $35, with the not-as-scary attraction for $15.

Anyone sensitive to strobe lights should not take part in the "Nightmare in Nassau", which was created by a retired NYPD officer.

Tickets are available on the website. The scares begin on Sept. 26.
