Kalenka Sentencing, Village Board Meeting Thursday

Village Board Meeting: The Garden City Board of Trustees will meet in the village hall boardroom at 8 p.m. to discuss a full agenda.

Raymond Kalenka Sentencing: Raymond Kalenka, convicted of leaving the scene of a deadly accident that killed Grimaldi's Pizza manager Dean LaLima, is scheduled to be sentenced today at 10:30 a.m. Kalenka, 46, faces up to two-and-a-half to seven years in prison.

Bully Shield Seminar: On Thursday, Oct. 17, from 5-7:30 p.m. Tiger Schulmanns Garden City will be hosting a "Bully Shield Seminar." Concert: Friends of the Garden City Public Library will sponsor a free musical concert: “I Do!
