Locust School Students Enjoy Annual Fall Festival

Students, families, and staff are brought together for a day of fall-themed celebration.

GARDEN CITY, NY — Garden City’s Locust School hosted its annual fall festival on Oct. 10. Kindergarten and first-grade students shared the festivities with their invited parents and families.

There were fall-themed games and activities, such as a pumpkin can toss, candy corn ring toss, and relay races. Students also received goodie bags at the end of the event.

Locust PTA and Family Fun Committee organized the event, and the Garden City School District said in a release that they appreciate their efforts in strengthening the school community.
