Man, 83, Causes $20,000 In Damage Scratching 5 Tesla Cars: Police
The incident happened on Sunday at the Roosevelt Field Mall.

EAST GARDEN CITY, NY — An East Garden City man was taken into custody for damaging five Tesla vehicles at the Roosevelt Field Mall, police said.
On Sunday afternoon, Victor Divergilio, 83, used a sharp object to cause deep scratches leading to more $20,000 in damage, police said.
An investigation led police to arrest Divergilio at his residence.

He is charged with second-degree criminal mischief and was expected to be arraigned on Wednesday, police said.
