Man Shot To Death On Nassau Street: Police
Police are investigating the murder of a 49-year-old man. Anyone with information is asked to come forward.
HEMPSTEAD, NY — Nassau County police are investigating a murder that occurred in Hempstead Sunday night.
According to police, Hempstead police officers answered a call for shots fired near the intersection of Peninsula Boulevard and Sewell Street at 10:55 p.m. When they arrived, they found a 49-year-old man lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was soon pronounced dead by doctors. Police have not yet released the man's name.
