Multiple Packages Stolen From Outside Of Homes Across Nassau: Police
Gia Kharshiladze was arrested and charged with 11 counts of petty larceny, police said.
GARDEN CITY, NY — A man was taken into custody for stealing numerous packages from the outside of homes in Garden City, police said.
Gia Kharshiladze, 38, of Brooklyn, was stopped with a cracked windshield. During the investigation, police determined that his vehicle was connected to multiple thefts outside residences across Nassau County.
The Garden City Police Department, Rockville Centre Police Department,
Muttontown Police Department and Nassau County Police Department collaborated and found Kharshiladze was responsible for thefts at seven additional locations.

Kharshiladze is charged with eleven counts of petty larceny, police said. He was released on an appearance ticket returnable on October 16 at First District Court, Hempstead.
