NY GOP To Hold Nominating Convention On Long Island
The state Republicans will be picking their candidates for governor, senate and more seats at a Long Island hotel.

GARDEN CITY, NY — The New York State Republican Committee has selected the Garden City Hotel as the site of its 2022 nominating convention, which will be held next month.
The convention, which will be held on Feb. 28 and March 1, is where the state Republicans will select the party's official candidate for statewide races, including governor, attorney general and U.S. Senator, Newsday reported.
It's not the first time the Garden City Hotel has hosted the event. The state GOP was there in 2006 to pick its candidates for the race that year.
