NYCB Theater Rebranded As Flagstar At Westbury Music Fair
The concert venue has been a mainstay for Long Islanders since the mid-1950s.

WESTBURY, NY — NYCB Theater at Westbury has rebranded as it returns to its roots. The new name is Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair.
The concert venue opened in 1956, although the first decade was an outdoor tent that seated 1,800 people.
The more familiar theater in the round was built in 1966 with seats for more than 2,800.

New York Community Bank purchased the naming rights in 2010 after North Fork Bank and Capital One Bank had their names on the arena. The arena is owned and operated by Live Nation.
"Flagstar Bank and New York Community Bank recently rebranded under theFlagstar name. This change also affects the name of the NYCB Theatre at Westbury, which will now be known as Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair, returning to its original and well-loved name," Danika Azzarelli, Vice President of Communications at Live Nation, said, according to Newsday. "We hope the community embraces the return to the venue’s historical identity."

Among the upcoming events at Westbury include Styx on March 27, Martina McBride on April 11 and The Temptations and The Four Tops on April 28.
