Photos of Marilyn Monroe: “Photos of Marilyn Monroe” is on exhibit in the Garden City Public Library showcases through July 31. Enjoy a nostalgic look at this actress, model and singer who became an American cultural icon. Photos rarely seen from Monroe’s youth and throughout her career, including pictures of Monroe standing on a Manhattan subway platform as well as attending a soccer game at Ebbets Field in Brooklyn, are on display. Library officials thank Bill Jordan for sharing his collection with the public.
