Public Lewdness Charge For Touching Himself In Woman's Backyard: PD

SOUTH HEMPSTEAD, NY — A Hempstead man was arrested for public lewdness on Monday evening, police said.

Elvis Maldonado, 43, was at a South Hempstead residence where he was observed by a woman, 32, exposing himself and touching his genitals in the victim's backyard, police said.

After an investigation, Maldonado was located and placed under arrest without incident, police said.

He is charged with public lewdness and third-degree criminal trespass, authorities said. He was scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday.
