Rec and Parks Department Hold Stanley Cup Championship

Garden City's Department of Recreation & Parks held its Stanley Cup championship games this past weekend for the fall season.

Congratulations to the Capitals (Pee Wee Division - second and third graders), Blues (Mites Division - fourth and fifth graders) and Sharks (Junior Division - sixth, seventh and eighth graders) on winning the cup in their respective divisions.

The department's floor hockey program in the St. Paul's Field House starts Dec. 6.  The program is open to village residents in Grades K-6 on Friday nights. To learn more about the program click here.
