Santa Will Tour Garden City Starting Next Week

Santa Claus, with the help of the fire department, will be visiting every street in the village next week. Find out when he's coming to you.

GARDEN CITY, NY — Get ready, because Santa Claus is going to be touring the Village of Garden City again this year, with help from his friends at the fire department.

Starting on Dec. 13, Santa will be riding around the village on a Garden City Fire Department sleigh. Santa and the fire department will try to go down every block in the village, but won't be able to make it to every one. Space restrictions on some blocks, like dead ends and clu-de-sacs, may make them impassable.

Santa's visits are scheduled for the evenings. He will leave the GCFD headquarters at 6:30 p.m. each night and be out until about 8:30 p.m. Here's his schedule:
