Search Finds Guns, Drugs In Gang Members' Home: Nassau Police

Police say a search of their home found weapons and large amounts of drugs.

HEMPSTEAD, NY — Three people were arrested last week after Nassau County police found weapons and drugs during a search of their home.

According to police, at 7:17 p.m. on Jan. 13, Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives and officers from the Bureau of Special Operations executed a search warrant at a home on Glenmore Avenue in Hempstead.

During the search, police say they found a loaded semi-automatic handgun and a loaded revolver. Police say they also found large amounts of marijuana, MDMA and cash.

Police arrested Angelica Rustin, 28, Devon Fenner, 34, and Rasheed Bullen, 28. All three lived in the house, and police say all three are known members of the Bloods gang.

Rustin was charged with criminal possession of a firearm. Fenner was charged with second- and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Bullen was charged with second- and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

All three were arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Jan. 14. All three were released without bail.
