FLORAL PARK, NY — A traffic stop for a possible drunk driver led to an arrest for gun charges, Nassau County police said.

According to police, officers saw a man slumped over in the driver's seat of a 2015 Honda CRV on King Street in Floral Park at 7:45 p.m. on Jan. 5. The officers tried to perform a sobriety test on the driver — Tyrone Vick, 24, of Floral Park — but police say he refused.

Officers conducted an investigation, and police say they found a loaded handgun in the car.
