'Sports Done Different' Fair Friday at GCMS

Emily Quigley's Gold Award project puts residents to the test.

Blindfolded baseball and soccer?

Garden City's Emily Quigley is putting residents to the test for her Gold Award project Friday when she hosts a "Sports Done Different" fair at Garden City Middle School.

Experience a day in the life of a differently-abled person by playing your favorite sports blindfolded.

Activities kick off at 6:30 p.m. Participants will have the chance to play all their favorite sports blindfolded.

The event will help support Camp Abilities Long Island, a week long summer sports camp for blind and deaf kids, and the Long Island Bombers, a local blind baseball team.
