'Sports Done Different' Fair Friday at GCMS

Blindfolded baseball and soccer?
Garden City's Emily Quigley is putting residents to the test for her Gold Award project Friday when she hosts a "Sports Done Different" fair at Garden City Middle School.
Experience a day in the life of a differently-abled person by playing your favorite sports blindfolded.Activities kick off at 6:30 p.m. Participants will have the chance to play all their favorite sports blindfolded.
The event will help support Camp Abilities Long Island, a week long summer sports camp for blind and deaf kids, and the Long Island Bombers, a local blind baseball team.

This event is open to boys and girls of all ages. Admission is $3.
