Tag Sale, Tennis Lessons Tuesday

Tag Sale: There will be a tag sale Tuesday between 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. at 127 Somerset Avenue. Books, collectibles, a large freezer, housewares and more are on sale. Click here for more information.

Tennis Lessons: The Department of Recreation and Parks will begin offering beginner level Platform Tennis lessons at Community Park on Tuesday at 11 a.m. The six-week course offers basic instruction and is being taught by certified platform instructor, Sue Tarzian. Dog Park Feedback: The Board of Commissioners of Cultural and Recreational Affairs, in conjunction with the Department of Recreation and Parks, is seeking input from residents about the possibility of a dog park in an area adjacent to the community garden at the Saint Paul’s Recreation Complex. Residents can express their interest by visiting the Recreation and Parks Office at 108 Rockaway Avenue or calling the office at 465-4075 by Oct. 31.
