'Title Swap' with Garden City Librarians
This series of programs gives patrons and librarians the opportunity to share new book titles and briefly discuss them.

The next meeting of the Garden City Public Library’s reader’s advisory series “Title Swap with the Librarians” will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the lower level of the library.
Title Swap is a series of programs that gives patrons and librarians the opportunity to share new book titles and briefly discuss them. If you would like, you may bring your lunch and we will serve a beverage.
On Tuesday, June 25, Reference Librarians Laura Flanagan and Ann Garnett conducted the second session of Title Swap. The librarians introduced the hottest new titles for this summer. Recommended titles included The Bookman’s Tale by Charles Lovett, Transatlantic by Colum McCann, The Silver Star by Jeanette Walls, The Engagements by Courtney Sullivan and The Perfume Collector by Kathleen Tessaro.
New beach reads were also presented including titles by popular authors Beatriz Williams, Dorothea Benton Frank, Nancy Thayer, Barbara Delinsky, Elin Hilderbrand, Nancy Thayer and Mary Alice Monroe.
Whether you are looking to discover a new author to read or to find your next book club pick, come to the next Title Swap with the Librarians. Remember to bring your own favorite titles to share with the group.
