UNIONDALE, NY — A top-prize lottery ticket was sold in Uniondale for the Jan. 2 TAKE 5 drawing, which means someone is now nearly $20,000 richers.
The winning ticket, which is worth $17,603.50, was sold at Torres Supermarket, located at 973 Front St. in Uniondale.
Lottery prizes can be redeemed up to a year after the date of the drawing.
