Vehicle Set On Fire In Mineola: Police
Glenn Annesley is charged with third-degree arson, police say.
MINEOLA, NY — A Garden City man has been arrested after an incident of arson in Mineola, police said.
Before dawn on Saturday, Glenn Annesley, 62, entered a 2011 Toyota, which was parked in the vicinity of Herricks Road and Jackson Avenue, and set the vehicle on fire, police said.
The vehicle sustained significant damage, but there were no injuries, police said.

Annesley, who fled the scene, was located at an area hospital 12 hours later and was placed under arrest without incident, authorities said.
He is charged with third-degree arson and had three active Nassau County warrants, police said. Annesley will be arraigned when medically practical.
