8 Fishermen Rescued From Glen Cove Waters
The water rescue occurred on Saturday afternoon.
Eight fishermen in distressed were rescued from Glen Cove waters on Saturday afternoon, Nassau Police say.
According to authorities, the Glen Cove Harbor Patrol and Nassau Marine Bureau responded to fishermen who were unable to get off the Morgan Jetty due to rising high tide at 3:50 p.m.
Responders were able to transport all eight fishermen to safety, uninjured.
