Glen Cove Business Students Compete in Trade Show
The event took place at Farmingdale State College.

Glen Cove High School business students recently took part in the Long Island Trade Show and Business Plan Competition at Farmingdale State College.
As part of the event, 12 students from Judi Checola’s Virtual Enterprise class presented a business plan to judges and then attempted to sell their product to visitors of the trade show. The class’s virtual business is Click-n-Shop Groceries, an online supermarket and catering company.
Senior Hanna Ali served as the company CEO and oversaw the writing of the plan and preparation of the company’s presentation. Overall, the sales team managed to amass $99,000 in virtual sales at the trade show. Click-n-Shop Groceries took home its first award, earning second place in the Most Enthusiastic Firm category.
