GLEN HEAD, NY — A Glen Head native has signed with the Orlando Solar Bears, a professional ice hockey team affiliated with the Stanley Cup-winning Tampa Bay Lightning.
The Solar Bears, who play in the South Division of the ECHL, formerly known as the East Coast Hockey League, said Tuesday the club agreed to terms with defenseman Patrick McNally for the 2020-21 season.
McNally, 28, enters his sixth season of professional hockey after splitting time last year in the Slovak Extraliga between HK Nitra and MAC HKB Újbuda. He tallied four goals and 33 assists in 55 games.
