• Lawsuit: NCC officials retaliated against students who criticized college policies (newsday.com) — A Glen Cove resident, former Nassau Community College student leader Jordon Groom, has joined another ex-student in suing the college, claiming officials retaliated after they criticized campus policies and conditions. The federal lawsuit alleges intimidation, discrimination, and unfair discipline, including removal from student government and mandatory training, and seeks a jury trial and damages.
   

• FAME FOR THREE: Grella, Savarese, Treglia to be inducted into ENY Soccer Hall on Sunday (frontrowsoccer.com) — A former standout from Glen Cove High School, Mike Grella is being inducted into the Eastern New York Soccer Hall of Fame on Sunday alongside Gio Savarese and Vincent Treglia. The trio will be honored at the state association’s holiday event in Queens, recognizing their achievements as players, coaches, and influential soccer organizers across Long Island and beyond.
