Registration Open for Boy's 5k Walk Fundraiser

A 5K walk is being organized to raise funds for expensive cancer treatments facing 7-year-old Glen Cove resident Nicholas Pedone, according to his family. 

Pedone is battling a rare form of cancer called neuroblastoma. 

The walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. on April 7 at Glen Cove High School. Participants must register beforehand, and each must register separately. The cost is $25 per person. To register, click here. 

There is also a Fun Run for children under 10 years of age. They must also be registered separately. Registration is $5 per child.

Registration closes March 31 at 11:59 p.m.
