“We are very excited to have Betsy Gibbs involved with our Tag Sale this year. Her expertise, energy and enthusiasm will surely result in a successful event this year, which will ultimately benefit the young people we serve,” said Melissa Rhodes, executive director of the Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club.

Gibbs said she is excited to be involved.

“I am honored to be asked to do something that comes very natural to me – running a sale and giving back to the community. My parents, Dr. Stanley and Emily Gibbs were both philanthropists and I am thrilled to be following in their footsteps and helping the children of the community where I was raised and still live. I am so excited about this year’s Club Closet Tag Sale and I hope in some small way, my
participation in this event will encourage others to get involved as well,” said Gibbs.

Proceeds will benefit the programs and services the Club offers to more than 700 local children and teens.
