Toy Drive Being Held For Families In Need Through Dec. 17
Assemblymember Charles Lavine says he will donate new, unwrapped gifts to families in need from the Glen Cove Day Care Center.

GLEN COVE, NY — The holidays are just around the corner — and in the spirit of giving, Assemblymember Charles Lavine (D-Glen Cove) is encouraging Long Islanders to donate to his annual toy drive.
The lawmaker says he will donate new, unwrapped gifts to families in need from the Glen Cove Day Care Center, which was severely damaged by the remnants of Hurricane Ida this summer.
"I am so pleased to be able to help the resilient kids of the Glen Cove Day Care Center whose lives, and learning, has been disrupted by the devastating floods associated with Hurricane Ida," Lavine said.
