Boerum Hill Teens Arrested After Fatal Gowanus Shooting
The shooting left one man dead early Thursday morning.

GOWANUS, BROOKLYN — Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with a shooting in Gowanus that left one man dead, police said.
Andre Alberto, 17, and Noelvis Hernandez, 18, both of whom live in Boerum Hill were arrested Thursday night around 7:45 p.m., police said.
Alberto was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, police said, while Hernandez was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and tampering with physical evidence.

Authorities also identified their victim as Ramon Ortiz, a 19-year-old man who lives at the Gowanus Houses public housing project where he was killed.
Police rushed to the corner of Bond and Baltic streets around 4 a.m. Thursday morning and found Ortiz dead with a gunshot wound to his chest.
