Four Suspects Sought In Red Hook Home Invasion, Assault: NYPD

A 53-year-old man was struck after the suspects broke through a window in his home and displayed a gun, police said.

RED HOOK, NY — Cash, credit cards and clothing were stolen from a victim of a home invasion two weeks ago ahead of the Fourth of July celebration, according to a police report.

In the early morning hours of July 1, four men, pictured above and featured in the attached surveillance video, broke through a window, displayed a gun and struck a 53-year-old man who lived on the corner of Bay and Otsego streets and then fled residence, said police.

The victim, whose home was broken into at approximately 5:05 a.m, was sent to NYU Langone and is in stable condition, according to the NYPD.

All four men are described to be between the ages of 20 to 25, said police.

The first suspect was described as being of slender build with long black hair and a black beard and he was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white lettering affixed to the front of it, gray jeans and white shoes.

The second suspect was described as being of medium build with short black hair and a black beard. He was last seen wearing a black and white hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, white shoes and brown glasses.

The third suspect was last seen wearing dark colored clothing and there was no further description of the fourth suspect beyond his gender and age, according to the police report.
