Jennifer Londono Found? Torso That Washed Up In Brooklyn May Belong To NJ Bartender

Authorities have reportedly linked a tattoo on the dismembered body to the missing bartender.

RED HOOK, BROOKLYN — Authorities believe they may have identified a dismembered body that was found off the Brooklyn coast last week, according to multiple reports.

Police used a tattoo on the torso to tentatively identify the victim as 31-year-old Jennifer Londono, a bartender from Englewood, New Jersey, who has been missing since June 25, according to the New York Post.

The "butchered" body was found two days later in Red Hook, near the Gowanus Bay and Buttermilk Channel.

Police are questioning the woman's boyfriend, the Post reported, after her blood was found in his bathtub. The woman worked at Luna Lounge on Armory Street in Englewood, according to the Post.

After seeing photos of the tattoo released by police, the woman's mother walked into the 76th Precinct in Carroll Gardens and said she recognized it, according to NBC New York.

The tattoo is a tribute to the victim's aunt, the TV station reported.

The body had no head, and parts of her legs were missing, according to police.

"If you saw where the dismemberment was, it could not possibly be an accident," NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce told NBC New York.

Friends of the woman held a vigil for her on Monday. "Personally, I won't rest until I hear who did this," one of the friends said.
