Dave Chappelle to Perform Five-Night Stint at Gramercy Theatre and Cutting Room

Comedian Dave Chappelle will be performing August 28-September 1, all nights in a row, at the Gramercy Theatre and Cutting Room. Tickets for all shows sold out through Ticketmaster in just 30 seconds on Wednesday at 10 a.m., The Fader reported. On StubHub, they're going for around $150 each, depending on the night. Chappelle performed three nights of comedy in a row last year as well.

The comedian that got his start in Mel Brooks' Robin Hood: Men in Tights in 1993, Chappelle has amassed a cult following for his sketch comedy tv series, Chappelle's Show, which ran from 2003-2006.
