Gramercy Park Residents Are Mad About Dog Poop: Report

The Gramercy Park neighborhood has been plagued by piles of dog poop, neighbors say.

GRAMERCY PARK, NY — Residents of the swanky Gramercy Park area are upset about their neighbors' dog poop.

According to the New York Post, anonymous signs popped up around the neighborhood this month, spouting the following admonitions:

Your dog makes the biggest poops. We know because we’ve stepped in it.
If your dog has the runs, run him to the curb and clean it up!
You can run but you can’t hide.

Gramercy Park resident Pam Vassil told the Post that she and some fellow neighbors were responsible for the signs. She told the Post that a previous dog poop problem in 2012 had been solved after they scolded the culprits with signs.
