Hillary Clinton Sends Pizza To Fans Who Waited Overnight In Line To Meet Her

The Democratic presidential nominee sent pizza to fans who waited in line overnight for the chance to meet her.

UNION SQUARE, NY — Fans who lined up overnight to meet Hillary Clinton at a book signing near Union Square were treated to pizza from the Democratic presidential nominee.

Clinton is launching her book tour for her new book, "What Happened," at the Union Square Barnes & Noble on Tuesday. Entrance to the book reading and signing required a day-of purchase of Clinton's 2016 memoir, and Clinton fans took no chances to ensure that they'd get a spot. Some HRC devotees said they started lining up as early as 3:30 p.m. on Monday afternoon.

"What Happened" chronicles Clinton's candidacy in the 2016 presidential election and her shocking loss to now U.S. President Donald Trump. The book is being described as "her most personal memoir yet" in recounting the surreal 2016 campaign."In the past, for reasons I try to explain, I’ve often felt I had to be careful in public, like I was up on a wire without a net," Clinton writes in the introduction to the book. "Now I’m letting my guard down."

Clinton will also sign attend a book signing at Greenlight bookstore in Brooklyn on Sept. 27.
