Hillary Clinton To Visit Union Square Barnes & Noble

The 2016 presidential candidate and Democratic nominee will visit the Union Square Barnes & Noble in the first stop on her bookstore.

UNION SQUARE, NY — Hillary Clinton's first stop on her book tour will be at the Union Square Barnes & Noble.

Clinton's new memoir, "What Happened," will be released on Sept. 12, the same day she's visiting Union Square to sign copies of the book, which will chronicle her candidacy in the 2016 presidential election and her shocking loss to now U.S. President Donald Trump.

The book is being described as "her most personal memoir yet" in recounting the surreal 2016 campaign.

"In the past, for reasons I try to explain, I’ve often felt I had to be careful in public, like I was up on a wire without a net," Clinton writes in the introduction to the book. "Now I’m letting my guard down."

Clinton will visit the bookstore, located at 33 E. 17th St., at 11 a.m. on Sept. 12 to sign copies of "What Happened" and a new illustrated version of her book "It Takes A Village." To get into the event, you'll have to get a wristband on a first-come, first-served basis with purchase of "What Happened" at the Union Square location starting at 7 a.m. on Sept. 12, according to Barnes & Noble.
