Mexican Day Parade 2017 Guide: Parade Route, Traffic Closures And Times
Here's what you need to know for this year's Mexican Day Parade.

MURRAY HILL, NY — The annual Mexican Day Parade is coming to Manhattan this weekend, one of the city's first major events during National Hispanic Heritage month.
Hispanic Heritage month, which starts on Friday, covers the independence anniversaries for countries including Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico and Chile
When is the parade? The parade is scheduled to last from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 17, although road closures and traffic delays could last a little longer.

What is the parade's route, and what streets will be closed? The parade will run down Madison Avenue between 38th and 27th streets. Both 38th, 37th and 27th streets will be closed between Fifth and Park avenues for the parade's formation and dispersal.
What's the best way to get there? Your best bet is to take a train to either Grand Central or 42nd Street - Bryan Park subway stations. The 4, 5, 6, 7, B, D, F and M lines all stop at those stations.
