Podcast Host Taxstone Pleads Guilty To Gun Charges In Fatal Shooting At TI Concert
The hip-hop podcast host Taxstone pleaded guilty to two weapons charges on Thursday.

IRVING PLAZA, NY — The podcast host Taxstone pleaded guilty on Thursday to two weapons charges stemming from a chaotic shooting at a T.I. concert that left one person dead, prosecutors said.
Taxstone, whose legal name is Daryl Campbell, was arrested in January and indicted on federal weapons charges in connection with the shooting. In May 2016, just before the rapper T.I. was about to perform at the Irving Plaza concert venue, gunfire broke out in a VIP room. Ronald McPhatter, a bodyguard, was killed after he was shot at close range, and three other people were injured.
Campbell pleaded guilty on Thursday to receiving a firearm by interstate commerce with intent to commit a felony and possession of a weapon by a felon, prosecutors said. He faces up to 20 years in prison, a spokesman confirmed to Patch.
