NYC Tourist Robbed Of MAGA Hat At Knifepoint, Cops Say
Two robbers grabbed a red 'Make American Great Again cap and threatened its owner with a knife, police said.

UNION SQUARE PARK, NY — A man wearing a red "Make American Great Again" baseball cap was threatened at knifepoint on Thursday in Union Square Park, police said.
An 18-year-old tourist was about to enter the subway at Union Square on Thursday at about 5:40 p.m. when one of the robbers forcefully grabbed him from behind and removed his hat, according to police.
The 18-year-old and the robber were fighting over the hat when the second robber pulled out a knife and pointed it at the 18-year-old, police said in a statement. Both robbers ran from the subway station with the hat.

The red "Make American Great Again" caps were a recognizable centerpiece of President Donald Trump's campaign.
Police released a sketch of the knifeman on Friday and are searching for both men in the wake of the robbery. The knifeman was described as a white man in his 20s or 30s with short hair and facial hair.
