Subway Robber Threatens Man With Gun In Flatiron, Police Say

The robber ran off with $10 from the victim he threatened, according to police.

FLATIRON DISTRICT, NY — A robber threatened a subway commuter with a gun and made off with $10 in cash at a subway station in the Flatiron District, police said.

Officers are still searching for the robber, who threatened a 32-year-old man on Feb. 28, according to the NYPD.

Police said the robber approached the man on Feb. 28 at about 10 p.m. inside the 23rd Street R/W station in the Flatiron District. With his hand inside his pocket, the robber told the 32-year-old he had a gun and demanded his money, police said. The man handed over $10 in cash and the robber ran from the station.

Police are still working to identify and locate the robber, and released surveillance photos of him on Tuesday
