Two Men Try To Rob Store At Gunpoint, Police Say
Two men left a Lexington Avenue store empty-handed after trying to steal cash from the register at gunpoint, police said.

GRAMERCY, NY — Two men tried and failed to steal cash at gunpoint from a Lexington Avenue store on Friday, according to police.
The men entered the store, located at 38 Lexington Ave., at about 7 p.m. on Friday, authorities said. One of the men walked toward the car and "simulated" a firearm while demanding cash, the NYPD said in a statement. The two men were unable to steal any cash and eventually ran from the store. Police, who haven't identified either man, released surveillance footage of the men on Sunday and asked for the public's help in identifying them.
