Woman Shoved Man Onto Union Square Subway Tracks: Prosecutors
A woman randomly attacked a man at the Union Square subway station on Friday after he walked in front of her.

UNION SQUARE, NY — A woman randomly attacked a commuter early on Friday morning, shoving him onto the tracks at the Union Square subway station shortly before a train pulled in, Manhattan prosecutors said.
The woman, Marjorie Chambers, pushed an unsuspecting man onto the tracks on Friday at about 12:15 a.m., according to police and prosecutors. The man, Stephen Ware, was rescued by nearby cops who pulled him to safety before a Q train pulled into the station, the New York Daily News reported.
Chambers was charged with reckless endangerment, attempted assault and harassment, according to the Manhattan district attorney's office.

A witness confirmed to police that he saw Chambers push Ware onto the subway tracks, and the Daily News reported that surveillance video also captured the attack.
Chambers, 57, remains in a hospital prison ward, according to NYC Department of Correction records. Her bail was set at $100,000 cash or $150,000 bond. She is next scheduled to appear in court on April 16.
