'The Women Who Made New York': Book Talk At Midtown Public Library
The midtown branch of the NYPL is hosting the illustrator and author of "The Women Who Made New York" on Thursday.

MURRAY HILL, NY — If you're looking for something to do on Thursday evening, the midtown branch of the New York Public Library is hosting a the author and illustrator of "The Women Who Made New York" tonight at 6:30 p.m.
The author, former New York Times staff writer Julie Scelfo, and Hallie Heald will be at the library, 455 5th Ave., to discuss their book, which looks at the history of the women who built New York City. The book features women including Zora Neale Hurston, Audre Lorde, Fran Lebowitz and more.
The event is free and open to the public.
