2 Men Rob Nassau Residents Of Watches, Phones At Knifepoint: Police

Police are investigating the early Saturday morning robbery in a Saddle Rock driveway and looking for two male suspects.

SADDLE ROCK, NY — Two men robbed a man and woman at knifepoint in Saddle Rock, near Great Neck, while two children were in the backseat of a car in the early hours of Saturday, police say.

The Nassau County Police Department are looking for two men they say approached a man and woman and two children in a Whitman Ave. driveway and demanded their Gucci watches and iPhones. The man and woman, 41 and 35, had just parked in the man's driveway with the two children still in the backseat when the two men appeared, police say.

After getting two Gucci watches and two iPhones, the two men fled to a white BMW with a black convertible top. The car was seen heading westward on Longfellow Rd., police report.

No one was injured, and the items robbed are valued at $4,500.

The suspects are described as: a Hispanic male with a slim build wearing a black ski mask and gray jacket, and a thin Black male wearing a black ski mask, black jacket and black Air Force One Nike sneakers. Police are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will be kept anonymous.
