UPDATE: Lanes Reopen on LIE

UPDATE 4:35 p.m.: All lanes have now been reopened.

A crash involving multiple cars has closed lanes on the westbound Long Island Expressway in Nassau County Saturday afternoon.

The crash occurred around 3:20 p.m. between Exit 32 –Little Neck Parkway and Exit 33 - Lakeville Road, according to the state's Department of Transportation.

At 3:46 p.m., Nassau Police said all westbound lanes were closed at Exit 33. At 4:15 p.m., two lanes remained closed.
