Duo Arrested After Multiple Nassau Break-Ins, Police Say
BREAKING: Officials say the two men were arrested in the midst of a break-in.

SADDLE ROCK, NY — Two Chilean men have been arrested in connection with multiple Nassau County break-ins. Bryan Alexis Farias Luna, 28, of Puento Alto, Chile, and Isaias Antonio Lienlaf Donoso, 35, of Santiago, Chile, were arrested around 5:30 p.m. in Saddle Rock, police announced Wednesday afternoon.
Burglary investigators were looking for clues when they arrested the duo during a break-in that was happening at a Melville Lane home, police said.
An investigation is ongoing.

Luna and Donoso were charged with burglary and were expected in court Wednesday in Hempstead.
Kenneth C. Riscica, mayor of the Village of Plandome Heights, told residents the duo was suspected of breaking into homes in and around the Manhasset area as well. Police cautioned that the investigation remained ongoing and that residents should remain vigilant.

"Let's be sure our homes are secured with windows and doors locked, exterior and interior lighting, cars locked in driveways, etc.," he said. "Let's let them know that Plandome Heights is not fertile ground for mischief."
