Kings Point Man Tried To Bribe Police Officers With Drugs, Money: Police
The man was arrested on Saturday.

A Kings Point man was arrested for attempting to bribe police officers with drugs and money on Saturday, police say.
According to authorities, Jacob Tal, 21, entered the Great Neck Estates Police Department headquarters, located at 1 Cedar Drive in Great Neck, approached a police officer and offered to pay drugs and money so police would not pull him over and write him tickets in the future.
The officer refused Tal's bribe and subsequently placed him under arrest, police say.

Tal was charged with third-degree attempted bribe of a public servant. He was arraigned Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead.
